Privacy Policy

MagnetHits is a privacy-first analytics platform. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

What we collect

When your site sends a page view event, MagnetHits records:

• — Page path and title
• — Referrer URL (if present)
• — Approximate country (from IP, not stored)
• — Browser and OS (from user-agent string, aggregated)
• — Screen size (aggregated)

What we do NOT collect

• — No cookies set on your visitors' browsers
• — No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting
• — No IP addresses stored
• — No personal data of any kind

Account data

MagnetHits does not require an email address to create a site. If you provide one voluntarily (e.g. for account recovery), it is stored encrypted and never shared or sold.

Data retention

Aggregated stats are retained indefinitely. Raw hit data is retained for 30 days then aggregated. You can delete your site and all associated data at any time via the API or dashboard.
